Twelve fires recorded by 13:00 in North Macedonia — five active, one under control
The Center for Crisis Management says 12 fires were recorded by 13:00; five still active and one under control.

The Center for Crisis Management reported that, by 13:00, a total of 12 fires were registered in open areas across the country: five remained active, one was under control and six had been extinguished.
Currently, five fires continue to burn. In Studenichani municipality the blaze affects the area between the villages of Morane, Vrtekica and Ramni Gaber and is spreading through mixed forest. In the Macedonski Brod area fire is burning at the site Vidush near the villages Dragov Dol and Lokvica, primarily through low vegetation, low-stem forest and shrubs.
Two fires are reported in the north: in the municipalities of Jegunovce and Saraj flames burn near the villages Kopance and Tudence with expansion toward Bojane through mixed forest; and in Staro Nagorichane municipality there is a forest fire around the villages Orah, Dimance and Rugance, where one house has been affected. A separate active fire is recorded in the Prilep municipality near the village Chaniste, in low vegetation.
One fire under control, several already extinguished
The blaze at the landfill in Delchevo municipality is listed as under control. Extinguished fires include: Brvenica municipality, village Miletino (low vegetation); Kratovo municipality, village Zheleznitsa (landfill); Rankovce municipality, village Vetunica (low vegetation); and areas in Veles and Zelenikovo: village S'lp, locality Gorno Selo, with spread toward Karabunishte and Buzalkovo and also toward the villages Dobrino and Tisovica (low vegetation, oak and hornbeam forest and quality oak forest).
Fires have also been put out in Studenichani municipality at the village Batinci (low vegetation) and in Zelenikovo municipality at the village Paligrad (low vegetation and forest), the Center for Crisis Management reported.
Authorities continue to monitor the remaining active fronts and coordinate response efforts, while local units and firefighters work to prevent further spread to settlements and infrastructure.
