The Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics (GAK) announced on social media that last weekend the ward welcomed 32 newborns, creating what the clinic described as a lively and joyful atmosphere.

Busy days in the maternity unit

According to the clinic's post, staff congratulated the parents and extended good wishes to the newest members of the community. "We congratulate the happy parents, and wish our new fellow citizens a happy childhood and beautiful life stories. The greatest joy for us comes from the smallest ones," the Clinic said.

The report emphasised the festive mood among hospital teams who managed deliveries and neonatal care during the busy period.

The announcement also noted a longer-term trend: the number of newborns has fallen by about 30 percent over the past decade.

Clinic officials did not provide a precise breakdown of the deliveries by day or time, but highlighted the dedication of medical staff who handled the weekend's workload.
