In a dramatic finish to the Bosnian Premier League derby, Agon Elezi converted in the 90+6th minute to decide the match and give Sarajevo a 2–1 victory away at Široki.
VAR check, late celebration and MVP honours
The visiting side found the breakthrough deep into added time when Elezi positioned himself in front of the home goal and headed the ball into the net. The effort triggered a VAR review, but the decision stood and Elezi and his teammates celebrated the decisive goal.
After the final whistle he was named the match MVP. The goal appears at 7:50 in the video of the game.
The result leaves Sarajevo with a dramatic away win in a heated derby encounter. Elezi has become one of the standout players for the bordo-coloured team from Sarajevo.
