AC Aerodrom Skopje at European Kids Athletics Games 2026 — Karakabakov fifth in long jump
The club sent three athletes to the 21st European Kids Athletics Games (27–30 August 2026); Antonio Karakabakov placed fifth in the long jump with 5.79 m.
Athletic Club Aerodrom Skopje sent a three-member team to the 21st European Kids Athletics Games, held 27–30 August 2026. The event brought together roughly 2,500 children born between 2011 and 2015 from 26 countries.
Performance summary
AC Aerodrom Skopje was represented by Antonio Karakabakov (born 2012), Nikola Terzioski (2011) and Ivan Saveski (2012). The three competed across sprints, a long jump event and a mixed relay.
Antonio Karakabakov contested four disciplines: 60 metres, 300 metres, long jump and the mixed 4×300 relay. His strongest result came in the long jump final, where he set a personal best of 5.79 metres and placed 5th among 55 competitors. On the 60 metres he ran 7.88 seconds, finishing 18th out of 100 starters. In the 300 metres he clocked 40.24 seconds and placed 18th of 88 in his age group.
Nikola Terzioski ran the 60 and 300 metres, posting 8.34 seconds in the shorter race and a personal best of 42.29 seconds in the 300 metres.
Ivan Saveski also ran both the 60 and 300 metres and took part in the mixed 4×300 relay. He recorded 8.80 seconds on the 60 metres and 43.83 seconds on the 300 metres. Antonio and Ivan formed part of a mixed 4×300 team that included two girls from the Athletics Association of Central Serbia; the quartet finished with a time of 2:59.14.
Following this year’s participation, the club has already started planning for a return to the competition in 2027.
