Aleksandar Josifovski proposed by a lake — the ring came up on the fishing line
Singer Aleksandar Josifovski proposed to his partner Ana at a lakeside with the ring tied to a fishing rod.
Former finalist of the „Zvezde Granda" contest, Macedonian singer Aleksandar Josifovski, surprised his followers with a romantic and inventive proposal beside a lake.
An avid fisherman, Josifovski rigged the engagement ring to a fishing rod: when his partner Ana pulled the line she found not a catch but a glittering ring. He then knelt and she answered, "YES for a lifetime, my love."
Messages of congratulations from friends, colleagues and fans poured in on Instagram. Ana posted a collage of the proposal moments showing the ring on her hand with the caption: "YES for a lifetime, my love — I love you."
Josifovski also shared a family photo taken at the lake in which he, Ana and their young daughter pose together, proudly adding the caption "MY TEAM."
New beginning and family life
Josifovski was previously married to his ex-wife Teodora; the couple divorced after eight years of marriage in an atmosphere they described as respectful and understanding. Shortly after the split he began his relationship with Ana, saying she had won him over with her energy and her cooking.
Their relationship recently produced a daughter, and the couple have now sealed this new chapter with an engagement. We wish the happy pair lasting love and happiness.
