15 September 2026 — Aleksandar Kolarov has been suspended after being sent off in his side's 5-3 defeat to Udinese.
Kolarov received a red card in the 19th minute for protesting against referee Luca Pairet and continued to argue after the dismissal.
What was said on the touchline
According to the fourth official's reconstruction of the incident, Kolarov told the referee: "You should be ashamed of yourself, you idiot."
The disciplinary measures announced after the match mean Kolarov will miss the next two Serie A fixtures and has been ordered to pay a fine of €5,000 to the federation.
The suspension follows the on-field dismissal in the early stages of the fixture and the subsequent exchange that was recorded by match officials.
