Aleksandar Temelkov releases emotional single "Zoshto sine ti si zamina"
The folk single draws on a real family tragedy and features a guest violinist; lyrics and music involve the singer himself.

Aleksandar Temelkov has released a new, emotional folk song titled "Zoshto sine ti si zamina" devoted to his manager's late son.
The singer, best known from several seasons of the talent show Zvezdite na Grand, says the song stems from a real and painful event: the death of his manager's son, which occurred 11 years ago. Temelkov told Glamur that the recording is meant as a dedication both to that young man and to others who left their families too soon.
Song credits and collaborators
The lyrics are credited to Stojan Toshe Lazareski and to Temelkov himself, who also composed the music. Slavko Risteski arranged the track, and violinist Dzevat Ramadanoski appears as a guest on the recording.
After his time on Zvezdite na Grand, Temelkov continued to pursue a solo career and has steadily released material in the folk genre. The new single follows that trajectory, bringing a sombre tone and traditional instrumentation.
Outside of music, Temelkov has also had success in his personal life: a few years ago he became a father. The singer posted images related to the release on his Instagram account, where fans responded emotionally to the song and its backstory.
