Aleksandar Uzunovski — "Uzun" is the first guest in HC Vardar's fan series

Published: 18.08.2026 11:55 — HC Vardar has launched a short video series celebrating the club's most loyal supporters, and the opening episode features one of its most familiar faces: Aleksandar Uzunovski, known to fans simply as "Uzun."

Uzunovski is described by the club as a longtime fan renowned for his steady presence at matches, his vocal backing and the visible passion he brings to every game.

Club spotlights supporters ahead of the season

HC Vardar framed the series as a way to put supporters at the center of the club's story ahead of a demanding season. In its announcement the club underlined the symbolic role fans play for the team and invited the public to watch the episodes.

In the announcement HC Vardar said: "We are honored as a club to begin this series precisely with him and his memories connected to Vardar. Vardar is our common club, a club we build together, a story we write together, therefore we believe that ahead of the season in which many battles await us it is important to hear the stories and the stance of those who always and unreservedly give us their support. In defeat and victory, for our great love! Buy a season ticket and cheer for Vardar."

The first episode introduces Uzunovski's recollections and explains why the club chose to open the series with a supporter rather than a player — a gesture aimed at strengthening the link between team and stands before the new domestic campaign begins.
