Liverpool confirmed on September 27, 2026 that striker Alexander Isak left Sweden’s national team camp after sustaining a minor injury and returned to England for club assessment.
Club to carry out further checks at AXA Training Centre
The club statement did not specify the exact nature of the injury but stressed it is not considered serious. Isak will undergo examination by Liverpool’s medical staff at the AXA Training Centre.
As a result, Isak will miss Sweden’s remaining Nations League fixtures against Poland, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Romania.
