Ezgjan Alioski ruled out of North Macedonia squad for Slovenia match

Coach Sedloski confirmed at a press briefing in Ljubljana that Ezgjan Alioski will not be available for North Macedonia’s Nations League match against Slovenia due to a calf injury.
Squad change before kickoff
The announcement came on the eve of the fixture: Slovenia vs North Macedonia will be played on 29 September in Ljubljana, with kickoff scheduled for 20:45. Alioski was left out of the travelling squad after the medical staff reported an injury to his calf.
The absence removes one of North Macedonia’s most experienced wide players from the lineup and forces Sedloski to consider alternatives on the flanks. The coach did not name a replacement at the press briefing.
Team preparations continue in Ljubljana and the squad will finalise the matchday roster before kick-off. The Nations League meeting is important for both sides as they chase points in their group.
Earlier, Sedloski had urged improvement ahead of the Slovenia game, saying: "Against Slovenia we can and must do much better."
