Alkaloid, GRK Ohrid and Butel await opponents in EHF European Cup

The first round of the EHF European Cup has finished, and three North Macedonian clubs remain in contention for the second round draw.

On September 21, 2026 the competition reached the conclusion of its opening phase; however, GRK Tikveš will not progress after being eliminated by Esch, leaving one fewer Macedonian representative in the next stage.

Alkaloid and GRK Ohrid have both been placed in the first seed ahead of the round-two draw, while Butel Skopje sits in the second seed and will face a tougher draw on paper.

The draw for the second round is scheduled for tomorrow, 22 September, in Vienna.
