Alkaloid, GRK Ohrid and Butel drawn in EHF European Cup
GRK Ohrid will face Turkish Sport Toto as Alkaloid meet Ferlach and Butel take on Gorica after the Vienna draw.
Three Macedonian handball clubs learned their opponents today at the draw in Vienna for the EHF European Cup's new season. Defending champions GRK Ohrid were paired with Turkish side Sport Toto as they start their title defence.
Match dates and venues
Ohrid will host the first leg on 17 or 18 October, with the return match scheduled for 24 or 25 October in Turkey.
Alkaloid were drawn against Austrian club Ferlach, while Butel Skopje will meet Croatian side Gorica in their tie.
For Butel Skopje this will be the club's fifth appearance in European competitions and their third campaign specifically in the EHF European Cup.
The draw in Vienna sets the opening international fixtures for the Macedonian representatives ahead of the domestic season, which will be preceded by the Super Cup "Dragan Vasilov – Cevka".
