Alkaloid first company in North Macedonia awarded Top Employer 2026
Certificate recognises HR policies, employee development and corporate practices during the company's 90th anniversary year.

Alkaloid AD Skopje has become the first domestic company to receive the Top Employer 2026 certification for North Macedonia, an international recognition awarded by the Top Employers Institute of the Netherlands.
Certification based on detailed HR assessment
The certification follows a comprehensive evaluation of corporate human resources policies, processes and practices. The Top Employers Institute methodology examines six key areas and 20 topics, among them HR strategy, leadership, the working environment, talent attraction and development, employee wellbeing and corporate values.
Company representatives said the award confirms Alkaloid’s sustained investment in employee knowledge and professional development and underlines the company’s strategic commitment to improving corporate practices and creating a motivating workplace.
“Particularly proud that in the year in which we celebrate our 90th anniversary, Alkaloid receives this prestigious international recognition. For us it represents confirmation of the long-standing commitment to the company's development, the continuous improvement of corporate practices and the building of a culture based on trust, respect and shared values. This recognition is an additional incentive to continue investing in knowledge, professional development and creating new opportunities with the same responsibility with which we build our success. I extend special thanks to all Alkaloid employees, whose contribution is an inseparable part of this joint achievement,” said Zhivko Mukaetov, General Manager and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Alkaloid AD Skopje.
Alkaloid leadership emphasised that continuous enhancement of organisational practices and development of human capital remain strategic priorities. Those efforts, they said, support sustainable growth, strengthen international competitiveness and further consolidate the company’s standing and recognisable corporate identity at home and abroad.
