Andrej Velkov returns to Bregalnica Shtip
20-year-old left-back rejoins his parent club after appearances for Brera Strumica, Tikvesh and North Macedonia U20 in Taranto.

Bregalnica Shtip have added a familiar face to their roster: 20-year-old left-back Andrej Velkov returns to the club on September 2, 2026 after spells elsewhere in the Macedonian top flight.
Velkov is expected to contribute on both defensive and attacking phases from the left side as Bregalnica continue to invest in young, locally developed players.
Player background
In his senior career Velkov has represented Brera Strumica and Tikvesh of Kavadarci in addition to earlier appearances for Bregalnica. He progressed through all youth national selections of North Macedonia up to under-19 level.
Last week Velkov was a member of the North Macedonia under-20 squad at the Mediterranean Games in Taranto, Italy, where he left an excellent impression, and now returns to his parent club.
At 20 years old, Velkov adds depth to Bregalnica's squad as the team prepares for the remainder of the season in the First League.
