Angeli appoint Zlatko Mokrov as head coach
Club confirms coaching change after relegation from the Superleague — Mokrov will also take charge of the under‑20 squad.
On 24.08.2026 13:47 Basketball Club Angeli announced an internal change on the coaching bench ahead of the coming season: Zlatko Mokrov will take over as head coach, replacing Igor Gacov. The club, which was relegated from the Superleague, will compete next season in the First League.
New leadership after relegation
Mokrov steps up from his previous role as assistant to Gacov. The promotion is part of a wider restructuring at the club following last season's drop from the top tier.
He is an experienced coach who has worked previously with Rabotnicki, Vardar and the FMP Academy, bringing a background in both senior and youth development.
Mokrov has also had several spells with Angeli across past seasons, and the club confirmed he will take responsibility for the under‑20 side in addition to leading the first team.
The appointment is intended to provide continuity inside the squad while Angeli prepare for the challenges of the new First League campaign.
