England produced a comprehensive 3:0 win over the Czech Republic at Wembley in the Nations League, controlling large parts of the match and finishing comfortably ahead on the scoreboard.

The opening goal came in the 27th minute when Czech defender Vladimir Coufal turned the ball into his own net. Harry Kane then increased England's advantage with strikes in the 57th and 70th minutes.

With his appearance against the Czech Republic Kane reached 125 international caps, equalling the record held by Peter Shilton.

In another headline fixture, Spain staged a comeback to beat Croatia 2:1 at Poljud. Ivan Perišić put Croatia ahead, but Mikel Merino levelled in the second half and then scored again in the 88th minute to secure victory for the European champions.

There was drama at Hampden Park as Scotland took the lead through Ryan Christie, only for Slovenia to overturn the result. Aljoša Matko equalised and Daniel Šturm struck to give Slovenia a 2:1 win.
