Abbas Araqchi: Renewed hostilities with US and Israel will not change Tehran's policy
Araqchi told state television that Tehran's stance will remain unchanged even if military action resumes.

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said on Sunday that any renewal of hostilities with Israel and the United States would not alter Tehran's policies.
"Lately there has been talk of a new army. Regardless of whether there will be an army or not, our policy will remain unchanged," Araqchi said on state television.
A few days earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump suggested Washington could resume military operations against Iran, without specifying with whom such actions might be coordinated.
Araghchi's warning and past episodes
Responding to suggestions of renewed strikes, Araqchi pointed to previous confrontations and the outcomes they produced.
"They have already done it twice and we saw what the results were. If they want to try again, they know that the result will not be different from what happened in the past," he said.
Separately, an Iranian news agency reported that Iranian air-defence systems shot down an American drone over the southern port city of Bandar Abbas, underscoring rising tensions in the region.
