The Democratic Union for Integration (DUI) has presented Arkin Jahiji as its candidate for mayor of the Municipality of Brevnica ahead of the early vote scheduled for October 18, 2026.

In a party statement, DUI described Jahiji's nomination as "responsibility, unity and a vision for the municipality's development."

DUI said the nomination is intended to advance a programme aimed at building a more developed and dignified Brevnica, with a municipal administration that serves citizens, delivers concrete investments and ensures equal opportunities for all settlements.

The party added that Brevnica has notable development potential and said its next leadership must understand local needs and work to address them.

According to DUI, Jahiji will act as a voice for residents and as a partner to anyone willing to contribute to the municipality's development and welfare.
