Arsenal completes signing of Ezra Konsa; Curtis Jones joins Inter
Konsa's transfer is around 50 million euros, while Curtis Jones departs Liverpool for Inter Milan.

On 19.08.2026 the summer transfer window produced two notable moves involving English internationals: Arsenal have finalised the capture of Ezra Konsa, while Curtis Jones is set to join Inter Milan from Liverpool.
Defensive reinforcement for Arsenal
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has added the England defender Ezra Konsa to his squad. The transfer fee is reported at around 50 million euros, a significant investment in the Gunners' back line ahead of the new season.
With Konsa on board, Arsenal gain another defensive option as they plan for the demands of domestic and European competition. If Arteta succeeds in bringing in additional forwards such as Osimhen or Alvarez, the squad on paper would look stronger than the one that reclaimed the Premier League title after a two-decade wait and reached the Champions League final last season.
Meanwhile, Liverpool were unable to keep Curtis Jones, who will continue his career in the fashion capital after moves earlier this summer for Souns and Spence. Jones's arrival at Inter Milan adds another England international to their ranks.
Both deals underline the active market among top clubs as they refine squads before the season settles into full swing.
