Arsimi sign veteran goalkeeper Riste Jankov
The Chegrane side signed experienced goalkeeper Riste Jankov after two rounds, seeking to shore up a leaky defence.
11.08.2026 — Arsimi have completed the signing of veteran goalkeeper Riste Jankov, adding experience to the squad after the opening two rounds of the new season.
Defensive struggles prompt reinforcements
The club from Chegrane moved to strengthen its roster following an evident problem in defence and a run of conceded goals in the early fixtures, and the board decided to pursue reinforcements before the transfer window closed.
Jankov arrives with a lengthy career between the posts; he most recently played for Makedonija G.P., a team that is currently competing in the VMFL championship.
In addition to Jankov, Arsimi also announced the acquisition of Muhamed Mislimi as part of the same recruitment wave aimed at bolstering the team’s options for the rest of the campaign.
Coaches and supporters will hope the new arrivals bring immediate stability to the back line and help reduce the number of goals conceded after the season’s early setbacks.
