Artim Polozhani named coach of the round as Shkendija remain perfect

Shkendija kept its perfect start to the season by beating a strong Struga Trim Lum on 25.08.2026, registering their fourth victory in as many matches and remaining the only team with a flawless record.

The Tetovo side achieved the result despite missing nearly half of their usual squad — Gaje, Dimoski, Melichi, Freitas, Gjorgjievski and others were absent — yet the team still managed to hold a four-from-four mark after round four.

That run puts Shkendija comfortably ahead in the title race after just four rounds: they sit +6 ahead of Vardar and +5 ahead of Sileks and Struga TL.

Coach credited for steering the team

The match at the FFM venue was not flawless for Shkendija, particularly in the second half when Struga showed more bite, but the visitors ultimately secured the win. Much of the credit for the result has gone to head coach Artim Polozhani.

Polozhani was named coach of Round 4, an acknowledgement of his role in keeping the team unbeaten so far this season.

With the domestic campaign still in its opening weeks, Shkendija will try to maintain momentum as contenders begin to close the gap, while rivals aim to chip away at the early lead compiled by the Tetovo club.
