Arturo Di Giacomo to lecture in Skopje on new volleyball rules
The president of the CEV refereeing commission will present rule changes tested in summer and explain their implementation before the new season.

Arturo Di Giacomo, president of the Refereeing Commission of the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV), will be the special guest and lead lecturer at a referees and delegates seminar in Skopje on October 3, 2026.
New rules explained ahead of next season
The seminar is organized by the Refereeing organization at the Volleyball Federation of North Macedonia (OFM) and brings together local referees and match delegates for a full-day programme of instruction and discussion.
Di Giacomo will present the newly adopted official rules for the sport, a set of changes that were trialled during the summer. He will outline practical applications and interpretations that referees must apply going into the new competition season.
Organizers say the session aims to harmonize refereeing standards across domestic competitions and ensure match officials are ready for the updated protocols before national leagues and cups resume.
The seminar on October 3, 2026, follows the period of testing of the rules over the summer and is timed to give referees and delegates the guidance they need ahead of implementation next season.
