Atdhe Mazari officially signs for Elbasan

Atdhe Mazari (25) has been officially announced as a new signing for Elbasan, the Albanian top‑flight club confirmed on 12 August 2026. The club presented the forward to supporters and signalled that they expect him to contribute with strong performances and goals.
The management said they brought Mazari in to strengthen the attacking options and to add versatility across the frontline. Club officials highlighted his ability to adapt to multiple attacking roles as a key reason for the move.
Career path and recent clubs
Mazari arrives at Elbasan after a spell with Shkëndija, where he featured while on loan from Varaždin. Before that, his career included stints at Rabotnicki, Pobeda, Struga T, and Ohrid.
At 25 years old, Mazari is viewed as a player entering his prime; Elbasan will expect him to combine experience from the Macedonian league with the physical demands of the Albanian Superliga.
On the pitch Mazari can operate on either flank or as a central striker, giving the coach tactical flexibility when selecting the front line. The club also released images from the presentation as part of the announcement.
