Bus and car collide at intersection in Aerodrom, passenger seriously injured
A 64-year-old woman was taken to the Complex Clinics "Mother Teresa" after the crash; Skopje police performed an on-site inspection.
A passenger suffered serious injuries after a bus and a car collided yesterday at an intersection in the Aerodrom municipality of Skopje.
"On 06.08.2026 at 13:40 a report was received at the Skopje Police Department that at the intersection of Blvd. 'Jane Sandanski' and a service street, in the Aerodrom municipality of Skopje, a traffic accident occurred between a MAN bus with Skopje license plates, driven by T.P. (47) from the village of Novo Selo, and a Ford Focus passenger car with Skopje license plates, driven by G.J. (55) from Skopje. In the accident, 64-year-old V.V. from Skopje, a passenger in the bus, sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the Complex Clinics 'Mother Teresa' Skopje. An on-site inspection was carried out by an inspection team from SVR Skopje." the Ministry of Interior (MVR) said.
Emergency response and investigation
Emergency services arrived at the scene after the collision and the injured passenger was transported to the Complex Clinics 'Mother Teresa' in Skopje, where doctors recorded serious injuries. Authorities have not released additional medical details about her condition.
Police records identify the bus as a MAN vehicle registered in Skopje and driven by T.P., 47, who is from the village of Novo Selo. The other vehicle involved was a Ford Focus driven by G.J., 55, a resident of Skopje.
Officers from the Skopje police conducted an on-site inspection and are handling the preliminary investigation into the causes of the collision. No further comments were provided by investigators as inquiries continue.
