Badel 1862 extends contract with double-double performer Lindzi Kliri
The club announced on 23 August 2026 that Lindzi Kliri — who averaged a double-double last season — will stay with Badel 1862.

Badel 1862 has confirmed that forward Lindzi Kliri will remain with the club for the upcoming season, keeping one of last year’s most influential interior players in Skopje.
Kliri was one of the team's cornerstones under the basket last year, finishing the season with a double-double average of 10.5 points and 14.5 rebounds per game. The club announced the continuation of the cooperation on 23 August 2026.
Before returning to training in Skopje, Kliri outlined her expectations for the campaign and underlined the role she hopes to play on and off the court.
Player and club set sights on more
“I'm excited to rejoin Badel and this season. Last season I feel we found our rhythm as a team and finished strong, but were left 'hungry' for much more. The energy from our fans was incredible and I know that this season we'll strive to make them proud. I'm looking forward to playing again for coach Darko and to contribute to the team's success with my experience and competitive spirit,” Kliri said.
Badel 1862 welcomed the news and highlighted what Kliri brings to the roster ahead of domestic competition and the club’s broader ambitions.
“We are proud that a player like Lindzi Kliri, who is a professional in every sense of the word, decided to continue her cooperation with our club. We believe her experience, quality and winning mentality will be an important part of the team's ambitions in the new season,” the club said.
