Bayern gain hope ahead of Atlético clash as Olise and Neuer train

02.11.2026 21:35 — Bayern Munich received encouraging fitness signs ahead of their Champions League meeting with Atlético Madrid, with a couple of key names taking part in the final training session before the tie.

Squad update

Michael Olise appeared on the pitch wearing a bandage on his right ankle and completed the session, which leaves him in contention to make the matchday squad for the trip to Madrid.

Goalkeeper Manuel Neuer also trained with the group after suffering a tendon problem, raising the possibility that he could return to availability for Tuesday’s game.

Meanwhile, Ismael Saibari and Serge Gnabry will definitely be absent from the matchday squad as both players remain sidelined.

Head coach Vincent Kompany is currently on sick leave and receiving treatment at home, which means he will not be present on the touchline for the fixture.

The match between Atlético Madrid and Bayern Munich is scheduled for Tuesday at 21:00.
