The four names taken off the roster are Zhoao Palinja, who "was paid tens of millions of euros" but is leaving quietly; French defender Sacha Boej; Spanish forward Brajan Zaragosa, who returned from a loan at Roma but will not remain in Munich; and Armando Zieb, who spent last season on loan at Mainz and now must find a new club.
None of the four played a leading role for Bayern in recent times, which helps explain the club’s decision to cut ties at this stage of the transfer window.
Squad trimming ahead of the season
The removals from the official site come as Bayern finalizes its roster ahead of competitive matches. Such administrative deletions are a clear sign the club intends to free up space in the squad and on the wage bill.
For Palinja the situation is notable because he had arrived with a significant transfer fee; the report notes he "was paid tens of millions of euros," but will now depart without a prominent send-off. Zaragosa’s return from Roma did not lead to a place in the first team, while Boej and Zieb are likewise expected to pursue opportunities elsewhere.
There has been no formal announcement detailing the exact nature of each exit — whether permanent transfers were agreed, mutual contract terminations completed, or simply that the players will be loaned or sold in the coming days.
All four will now be looking for new destinations as the market continues to move before the season gets fully underway.
