Little Bajram walked down the corridor of the Clinic for Children's Diseases in Skopje dressed in a smart suit, holding his brother's hand, and together they reached the small platform where Bajram rang the clinic's victory bell — a ritual that marks the end of treatment.
The clinic published an emotional video showing staff applauding and a brass fanfare as the boy moved through the ward. His brother, also dressed in a suit, supported him and helped him climb onto the step so he could reach the bell.
A family moment and a hospital tradition
Medical staff greeted Bajram with cheering and warm applause as the trumpet music played, and the scene captured colleagues and relatives sharing a visible sense of relief and joy.
In a message accompanying the footage the clinic wrote: "Our hero bravely won the difficult battle".
The statement continued: "The victory bell rang loudly again so that everyone would hear that our hero Bajram bravely passed through and won the difficult battle. We wish Bajram much health and a happy life — full of joy and successes."
