“Bela noḱ 2026” in Skopje — concerts, exhibitions, performances and a programme for children

Concerts, exhibitions, DJ sets and a children’s programme across multiple city locations, with extended hospitality hours and free bus and zoo access for the night.

“Bela noḱ 2026” in Skopje — concerts, exhibitions, performances and a programme for children

City services and cultural organisations in Skopje have prepared an extensive program of concerts, exhibitions and performances for “Bela noḱ 2026”, with extended opening hours for hospitality venues and free public transport and zoo admission for the night.

The event is organised by the public institution Universalna sala and the City of Skopje and aims to link squares, streets, museums and galleries across the city in a single night of culture.

Programme highlights across the city

On Mother Teresa Square (the plateau in front of the Macedonian Opera and Ballet) the programme opens at 18:00 with the children’s festival Potochinja, followed at 18:45 by the interactive children’s theatre Teatar za tebe. At 19:30 DJ Bono performs, at 20:30 Dopamin Band takes the stage, and at 22:00 Igor Dzhambazov and Guru Hare Band appear. From midnight the music continues with DJs Tami u Toshev.

At the Lotus fountain in City Park electronic music begins at 20:30 with Floder and Vaso, continues at 22:00 with DJ Veki-Fluere, and from midnight features Inviktoz-Sempre.

On the plateau in front of the Museum of Contemporary Art the event “In between 04” starts at 20:00 and includes Berlin DJ Aju and local DJs Peneva, Stefan Strange, Bole and Luka. Boemska Ulica will host “Boemska Bela Nokt” with young Vladmir Popovski and his band, plus DJ Toshe Veljanov.

In addition to concerts and DJs, the night offers meetings with contemporary visual and multimedia art: at the Home of Builders a solo exhibition by Marija Rashkovikj and the group exhibition Vortex; at Chifte Hammam the exhibition Presek by Irena Paskali; and at Mala Stanica the multimedia show Between Worlds by Voskresija Andreevska.

Several daytime activities are also part of the programme: the Children’s Cultural Centre Karposh hosts an exhibition of children’s artwork; at the Park of Poetry by the City Library “Brothers Miladinovci” there is a creative workshop “Draw a Poem” and at 19:00 the exhibition See the Poetry connects literature, imagination and visual expression.

The Archaeological Museum will offer free admission and present the programme “35 objects, 35 stories”, inviting visitors to explore museum holdings and the narratives behind museum pieces.

Participating locations include the Youth Cultural Centre, the Bridge of Art, the Old Skopje Bazaar, the Museum of the City of Skopje, Audio Kultura and Macedonia Street. For the night, hospitality venues in the City of Skopje will extend opening hours by two hours, public buses operated by JSP “Skopje” will run free from 18:00 until 05:00 the following morning, and admission to the Zoo will be free.
