Petrol prices fall; diesel unchanged at 99 denars per litre
EuroSuper BS-95 drops to 91 denars and BS-98 to 93 denars per litre; diesel holds at 99 denars as RKE adjusts retail rates.

Retail petrol prices in North Macedonia were lowered after a decision by the Regulatory Commission for Energy (RKE). EuroSuper BS-95 will be sold at 91 denars per litre and EuroSuper BS-98 at 93 denars per litre, while the price of diesel remains unchanged at 99 denars per litre.
The move reflects a reduction of 5 denars per litre for both EuroSuper grades. Overall, retail fuel prices were reduced on average by 1.89 percent under the RKE decision.
Heating oil for domestic use (extra light) was cut by 0.50 denars per litre and will now cost 110 denars per litre. By contrast, mazut increased by 0.694 denars per kilogram and will be sold at 54.273 denars per kilogram.
Factors cited in the price calculation
The Regulatory Commission said it based the new retail prices on movements in international reference prices for oil products, the exchange rate of the US dollar and changes in excise and value‑added tax.
The calculation also applied the Government of North Macedonia's measure reducing VAT on diesel to 10 percent and a cut of 4 denars per litre in excise for EuroSuper BS-95, BS-98 and diesel. The Government extended the reduced VAT and lower excise measures for fuels until November 2.
Consumers should therefore see immediate lower pump prices for petrol, while diesel prices remain stable for now under the current pricing and tax measures.
