Business League North Macedonia launches 17th season with record 27 companies

Business League North Macedonia opens its 17th consecutive season with a record 27 participating companies, a sign of growing interest in one of the country’s most established amateur five‑a‑side competitions.

A season kick‑off press conference was held on October 1, 2026 at T‑Arena “Boris Trajkovski”, a few days before the first matches set to start on October 5, 2026. Organizers presented the competition format, the autumn match schedule and the full list of participating companies.

The tournament will be played in two groups — A and B — with the top teams from each group qualifying for a final tournament that will decide the season champion. The soft‑drink partner Gorska will again support the event by providing refreshments for players and helping to enhance the match‑day atmosphere.

Project managers Mladen Gjurovski and Filip Nikolovski and League Commissioner Marjan Kazakovski addressed attendees at the press conference and wished all companies a season marked by fair play, good football, camaraderie and entertainment, stressing the traditional message that "the better team will win." Daniel Apostoloski, director of T‑Arena "Boris Trajkovski", confirmed the venue’s continued cooperation with the Business League.

Organizers said the league aims to keep building its recognizable sporting story by linking sport, business, team spirit and socialising — a space where companies can compete off the office field and on the sports pitch.

For 2026/2027 the 27 companies are divided into two groups as follows:

GROUP A: Lukoil, Alkaloid, ELEM, Stopanska Banka, EVN, OKTA, Halk Banka, Adzibadem Sistina, Atlantic Group, Tikves, NLB Banka, JSP, Makedonija Osiguruvanje and T‑Arena – Boris Trajkovski.

GROUP B: Matrix, Sigal Insurance Group, Netcetera, Van Hool, TAV, Makstil, LC Waikiki, Alma M, A1, AXM 365, Pozharna, Granit and Nelt.
