Blagojche Tushe donated his entire fee to a Home for children with special needs

Folk singer Blagojche Stojanovski Tushe has become known both at home and among the Macedonian diaspora for his frequent appearances at private festivities and public events. He continues to perform across the country and abroad, and the article notes he already has several engagements booked for next year in Australia.

Tusche was born in Australia and moved to North Macedonia at the age of five. He later returned to Australia, where he lived for a time with his wife and their children, before the family decided to move back and remain in his native region.

Originally from the Prespa area, Tushe still lives there with his family. He has said he was surprised to discover he had only once been invited to perform at the local Jabolkober festival, an event held in his home region, and that appearance took place several years ago.

Donation and public reaction

On that occasion he donated all the money he earned from the performance to a Home for children with special needs. Tushe spoke about the gesture recently on the TV programme "Kafe muabeti," and his candid account drew strong reactions from viewers.

Comments under social posts praising his generosity followed, while some viewers used the moment to criticize organisers of Macedonian events, arguing that domestic performers are often undervalued. Tushe remains one of the most sought-after folk performers among Macedonians both inside the country and abroad.
