Bojan Ilievski and Bubi Ademov have become a viral sensation after posting several short videos in which they perform traditional Macedonian and folk songs together.

The two singers — Ilievski, the winner of the most recent season of Zvezde Granda, and Bubi Ademov, who rose to public attention on the same show and is the younger brother of prominent singer Nadica Ademov — shared clips on Instagram that quickly spread across the region.

Fans praised spontaneity and vocal chemistry

In the videos the pair sing timeless numbers including “Cveta,” “Puste pare” and the traditional piece “Blagunjo dejche,” delivering the songs with high energy and visible camaraderie. Comments under the posts filled with compliments for their vocal talent and the relaxed, spontaneous atmosphere they create.

Ilievski posted an emotional message alongside the videos, explaining how music brought them together: “We met through song, since the competition on ‘Zvezde Granda’ and to this day no meeting passes without a song! That is why I decided to publish this for all of you, so you can see and hear what our friendship with my Bubi Ademov looks like! Filled with a lot of positive energy, music and affinity!” he wrote.

Viewers have also been interested in the backgrounds of the two performers. Bubi Ademov won broad sympathy from the jury during his first appearance on Zvezde Granda and was reportedly praised by his mentor Svetlana Ceca Ražnatović; judges compared his voice to Julio Iglesias and suggested he could follow a similarly bright career. Nadica Ademov, his sister, is repeatedly described in regional coverage as one of the most affluent singers from the Balkans, while the family originally comes from Skopje.

Ilievski has also marked his recent victory with a large forearm tattoo that depicts a microphone, the Zvezde Granda winner statuette and his life-motto. The tattoo includes the phrase: “Единствената работа во мојот живот која никогаш не може да биде лажна и која никој не може да ми ја одземе е мојата љубов кон музиката”, and, according to his post, the motto appears in English on his skin.
