Bozhinovska meets EBRD board to discuss renewable energy use and storage
Talks focused on tapping renewables potential, storage solutions and strengthening the grid in coordination with MEPSO.

Energy Minister Sanja Bozhinovska today held a working meeting with members of the board of directors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), who are visiting North Macedonia.
Officials from the minister's office said the talks concentrated on making better use of the country's renewable energy potential and on options for storing energy produced from renewable sources.
Grid upgrades and integration
Participants discussed the need to strengthen transmission and distribution infrastructure to accommodate new renewable capacities. That upgrade work was presented as a priority that should be coordinated with MEPSO, the country's transmission system operator.
The meeting also highlighted the importance of diversifying renewable energy production, a topic the parties noted is high on the European Union's agenda.
Bozhinovska underlined rising interest among households and businesses in switching to renewables and said the ministry will advance related plans going forward.
