Ana Brnabić: Serbia's presidential election must be called by 27 November
Acting president Brnabić told a Belgrade press conference the vote must be announced by 27 November and urged fast formation of governing bodies.

Ana Brnabić, acting president of Serbia, said the presidential election will be called no later than 27 November, citing the constitutional deadline. She made the announcement at a press conference in Belgrade.
Brnabić appealed to the newly formed parliamentary majority to move quickly to establish the country's governing bodies.
Call for rapid institution-building
“Quick formation of institutions at this moment is the most important,” Brnabić said, underlining her view that swift action by the new majority is needed to restore full state functions.
The acting president framed the timing for the election as fixed by constitutional rules and reiterated that the writ for voting must be issued by the 27 November deadline.
She urged that work on forming state organs begin as soon as possible so that the electoral process and subsequent government work proceed without delay.
