Bruno Duarte set to join Vasco da Gama in deal worth at least €1.5 million
Agreement reached for transfer to Vasco da Gama; fee set at no less than €1.5 million and Duarte played 98 official games for Red Star.

Bruno Duarte is leaving Red Star Belgrade and is set to move to Brazilian side Vasco da Gama, with the clubs reaching agreement on the transfer on 26 August 2026. An official announcement is expected shortly after the paperwork is finalised.
Deal details and fee
The transfer has been secured, with the compensation agreed not to be lower than €1.5 million. Red Star sought a buyout price matching the fee they paid when they acquired Duarte from Portuguese club Farense two years ago.
Duarte will sign a contract with Vasco da Gama once the final formalities are completed. Club representatives from both sides have confirmed the move is in its closing stages, although full confirmation and contract specifics are pending.
During his spell in Belgrade, Duarte featured in 98 official appearances for Red Star, scoring 42 goals and providing 14 assists. His scoring record made him one of the club's most productive forwards over the past seasons.
The 26 August 2026 agreement marks a return to South American football for the forward, who will join a Vasco da Gama squad aiming to strengthen its attacking options ahead of the new campaign.
