Parallel to the attempts to sign Stones, Chelsea's management is working on other options to solidify their defense. Negotiations are underway for the transfer of Maxence Lacroix from Crystal Palace, while the situation surrounding Como's talented centre-back Jacobo Ramón is being closely monitored.
