Červar: Gummersbach showed their full quality, I expect a better return match
Červar said Gummersbach dominated after the first 15 minutes and hopes for tactical changes ahead of the rematch.

Coach Lino Červar admitted after the game that his team had trouble containing Gummersbach in the second half and expects a stronger performance in the return leg.
“We knew in advance that today we faced a very tough match. In the first 15 minutes we played well and were equal, but especially in the second half Gummersbach showed all their quality. It is perfectly normal that when they show all their potential on the pitch, they are the better team. I hope that in the return match we will play a different game,” said Červar after the match.
Key moments and outlook for the rematch
Červar highlighted that his side was competitive early on, but could not sustain the intensity when their opponent raised the level. He noted specifically the contrast between the opening quarter-hour and the remainder of the contest.
The coach framed Gummersbach’s late superiority as a matter of them reaching their full capacity on the court, an occurrence he described as making them the better side on the day.
Looking ahead, Červar signalled that adjustments and a different approach will be necessary for the return fixture, expressing the hope that his team can deliver an improved performance.
