Four-year-old from Skopje seriously injured after being hit in Gostivar

A four-year-old child from Skopje was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle on a street in Gostivar and was later transferred to hospitals in Skopje.

According to police reports, "yesterday at 16:00" an accident happened on Zheleznichka Street in Gostivar when a passenger car, a Ford Kuga with Swiss registration plates, driven by G. Dž. (35) from the village of Chegrane, hit a pedestrian — the four-year-old child from Skopje.

Medical aid and police response

The child suffered severe bodily injuries and, after receiving first aid at the scene, was transported to the Mother Teresa Clinical Centre in Skopje for further treatment. The incident was recorded by local emergency services.

An inspection at the scene was carried out by a team from the Gostivar Police Department. The Tetovo police provided the information about the accident.

Authorities have not released additional details about the child's current condition or whether any charges have been filed; the investigation at the scene was performed by police investigators from Gostivar.
