Four Polish nationals arrested after ATV damaged gate at military warehouses in Erebino
Soldiers on duty detained four of seven people after ATVs damaged the gate; three suspects fled and police are searching for them.
Four Polish nationals were arrested after soldiers on duty detained members of a group that damaged the entrance gate of military warehouses in Erebino, near Tetovo, police reported.

The incident involved seven people in total; soldiers on guard at the site detained four of them while three others fled. The detained men are Polish citizens aged between 36 and 55.
"On 28.09.2026 at 18:24, the Military Police of the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia (ARM) reported to the Regional Police Directorate Tetovo (SVR Tetovo) that in the place called 'Erebino' in Tetovo, where military warehouses are located, several people on ATVs damaged the entrance gate of the facility.
The soldiers who were on guard at the scene detained four persons, all citizens of Poland: H.M.A. (55), D.K.V. (55), K.V. (41) and K.J.R. (36), while three other persons on ATVs fled. The four persons were deprived of liberty due to reasonable suspicion of committing a criminal offense under Article 350 of the Criminal Code, "unauthorized entry into military facilities". Measures are being taken to locate the remaining three persons and after documenting the case, appropriate submissions will follow." the police said.
Authorities have filed criminal complaints against the detained under the charge of unauthorized entry into military facilities (Article 350 of the Criminal Code). Investigations are ongoing and police units are searching for the three suspects who left the scene.
The arrested men face further procedures once the case is documented and police finish collecting evidence from the scene, officials added.
