Four killed, including a child, in attacks on Belgorod, regional governor says

Four people, including a child, were killed and 17 others wounded in attacks on Russia's Belgorod region, regional governor Aleksandr Shuvaev said.
Shuvaev said that authorities recorded 94 Ukrainian attacks on the region in the past 24 hours, with strikes reported across several populated areas. In one incident a fire broke out at a social facility and two warehouses, though there were no casualties from that blaze.
Logistics sites and drone interceptions
Since mid‑July, at least a dozen warehouses belonging to the retail platform Wildberries in western Russia have been hit, the governor’s statement said. Kyiv contends the facilities are legitimate military targets, alleging they are used to supply components for drone production and navigation systems for the Russian armed forces. The Kremlin denies those claims, saying the platform is not used for military procurement.
Shuvaev also reported that Russian air defences intercepted 159 Ukrainian drones over Belgorod in the same 24‑hour period.
The governor did not provide an exact timetable for the attacks beyond the 24‑hour window he described, nor did he give the names of the dead. Local emergency services are responding to damaged sites and treating the wounded.
