Crvena Zvezda 77-72 Anadolu Efes in Belgrade
Belgrade side earned its first EuroLeague victory after a tense final quarter, halting a two-loss start to the season.

Crvena Zvezda recorded its first win of the new EuroLeague season on October 1, 2026, edging Anadolu Efes 77-72 in a dramatic game in Belgrade.
The hosts controlled most of the match, but Efes from Istanbul stayed within reach and threatened until the final minutes. At halftime Crvena Zvezda led 37-36.
In the third quarter the home side managed to open a gap and at the start of the fourth quarter the margin reached eight points. Efes fought back with a 6-0 run that cut the score to 63-61 and set up a tense finish.
Calm finish secures the victory
Despite the late pressure, Crvena Zvezda kept its composure and preserved the lead until the final buzzer to close out a 77-72 victory.
With the win the Belgrade club ended a two-game losing start to the EuroLeague campaign. Anadolu Efes now has a 1-2 record in the competition.
Earlier on the same night Hapoel Tel Aviv beat Real Madrid 102-98.
