In the tense final minutes the responsibility fell to Chris Jones. The American point guard delivered the decisive plays at the end and emerged as the visitors' match hero, securing the narrow win in France.
The result gives Crvena Zvezda an important boost ahead of the upcoming double-round in the EuroLeague, a period that will test the squad's depth and form.
Earlier on the same day Fenerbahçe recorded a convincing home victory over Žalgiris, 99:80, adding further movement to the standings.
