Crisis Management Center: 13 open-field fires registered by 13:00 — 2 active, 6 under control
Two fires remain active while authorities report six under control and five extinguished across several municipalities.

Across the country, 13 open-field fires were recorded today up to 13:00, of which two remain active, six are under control and five have been extinguished, the Crisis Management Center reported.
Active blazes and their locations
The two active fires are in the Municipality of Mavrovo and Rostuše and in the Municipality of Struga. Above Bistra Mountain, near Kirilovec, pasture is burning, while between the villages of Oktisi and Belica dry grass and stubble fields are on fire.
Six fires are currently listed as under control: in the Municipality of Zelenikovo above the village of Paligrad – Preslap (mixed forest); in the Municipality of Saraj near the village of Kopanica (low-stem forest and low vegetation); in the Municipality of Struga near the villages of Piskupština, Burinec and Lokov (low-stem forest); in the Municipality of Čučer-Sandevo at Brest, m.v. Ramno, Skopska Crna Gora (forest); in the Municipality of Gjorče Petrov near the village of Gračani, on the Kosovo border above the village of Kučkovo (forest); and in the Municipality of Struga between the villages of Burinec and Lokov (low-stem forest).
Extinguished fires include several landfill and dump fires: in the Municipality of Šuto Orizari near Vizbegovo behind the New Star hotel (dump); in the Municipality of Mavrovo and Rostuše at m.v. Golem Brdash (forest); in the Municipality of Prilep behind the “Fakultet” in Prilep (garbage); in the Municipality of Struga near the village of Lozhani (garbage); and in the Municipality of Veles by the water pool above m.v. Potok (illegal dump).
Authorities continue to monitor the situation and list the locations and status of each fire in their daily reports.
