Dalija Stojanovska wins Balkan cyclocross U19 title

Dalija Stojanovska claimed the Balkan cyclocross U19 title on 25 October 2026, finishing the race in 43 minutes and 21 seconds to take the gold medal.

Stojanovska completed five laps and crossed the line ahead of Bridget Belu, who recorded a time of 44:26, while Denisa Marija Markuš finished third in 50:48.

Decisive ride and clear margin

The victory came after a strong, controlled performance over the cyclocross course, with Stojanovska maintaining the fastest pace across all five circuits and securing a clear winning margin over her nearest rival.

The result represents a significant achievement for Macedonian cycling at youth level, as Stojanovska added the Balkan crown to her palmarès in the under-19 category.

With this gold medal, Stojanovska has established herself among the region’s leading junior cyclocross riders and provided a high-profile success for her national programme.
