Damjan Stojanoski celebrates birthday; wife Elena posts emotional message
The folk singer received warm wishes from family and colleagues shortly after the summer arrival of daughter Eva.
Damjan Stojanoski marked his birthday this week surrounded by family, friends and a stream of congratulations on social media. The folk singer — son of the well-known artist Vojo Stojanoski — shared moments from the celebration that fans and colleagues gladly celebrated online.
Among the many messages that arrived, Damjan’s wife Elena stood out with a personal post. She published a photo of the couple smiling and embracing, accompanied by a short, direct message: "Happy birthday, I love you".
Colleagues from the music scene also sent wishes. Singer Vasilija Petrova posted a shared photo with the caption "Be the happiest!", while violinist Sizi (Instagram: sizi_official) and numerous other friends left greetings through Instagram stories and comments.
Family celebrations after a summer arrival
The birthday comes during a particularly joyful chapter for the Stojanoski family. This summer they welcomed a new daughter, Eva, whom Damjan and Elena kept private until the very end of the pregnancy.
Eva is their third child, joining son Vojdan — named after his grandfather Vojo Stojanoski — and daughter Jana. The family’s recent additions and the birthday combined to make this a festive moment for Damjan.
Damjan Stojanoski is widely regarded as one of the most beloved and in-demand folk singers in North Macedonia and among the diaspora, carrying forward his family’s musical tradition and legacy on stage and in recordings.
