Danilo Gutić joins RK Pelister 2
The young Montenegrin will be the sole foreigner in Pelister's second team and can earn a chance at the first team if he impresses.
RK Pelister 2 announced on September 3, 2026 that Montenegrin prospect Danilo Gutić has joined the club's second team. The club's management presented him to the public and emphasised that he will be the only foreign player in the Pelister reserve side.
Gutić arrives as one of Montenegro's most promising young handball talents. Club officials said his signing is intended to strengthen the young core of Pelister 2 and to offer him a platform to adapt to the club's style.
Path to the first team
The management also pointed out that strong performances with the second team could open the way to the senior squad. "If he proves himself in Pelister 2, he will have a chance to come to the first team," the club noted, referring to the possibility of reaching the main Pelister roster.
Should that opportunity arise, Gutić would be aiming to earn a place in the top Pelister side led by the legendary Lino Červar.
