Darija Krstevska breaks U20 half‑marathon record with 1:25:42
On her half‑marathon debut Krstevska ran 1:25:42 to lower the U20 national mark by 6 minutes 44 seconds.

Darija Krstevska, a member of AC Olimp, set a new national U20 (under-20) record in the half‑marathon when she clocked 1:25:42 on her debut at the distance.
Record ends a 28‑year mark held since 15 March 1998
Krstevska improved the previous U20 national record by 6 minutes and 44 seconds. The former benchmark of 1:32:26 had been held by Daniela Kulevska, set on 15 March 1998 in Skopje.
The performance came at the Skopje Marathon, where Krstevska finished sixth in the overall standings and was the highest‑placed Macedonian woman in the field.
Breaking a record that stood for more than 28 years on her first attempt at the distance highlighted Krstevska's rapid progression this season.
This result is the fifth youth national record Krstevska has set in 2026.
