On 16.08.2026 Dario Ivanovski, the top marathoner from North Macedonia and the country's sole representative at the European Championships in Birmingham, finished the race in 46th place.
He completed the 42‑kilometre distance in 2:22:39.
Placing and field
Ivanovski competed in a field of 60 athletes and was ranked 46th. Ten of them did not finish the race.
As the only athlete from North Macedonia in Birmingham, his result stood as the nation's best performance in the marathon.
The time is a clear marker of his current form and will inform selection and preparation for upcoming domestic and international events.
