The Macedonian international scored in Altai's 2–2 draw with Yelimay Semey and has four goals and three assists this half-season.
Darko Dodev scored as Altai came from behind to draw 2:2 with Yelimay Semey, a result that earned his club a valuable point late in the Kazakhstan league season.
The Macedonian international has delivered a strong first half of the campaign: four goals and three assists, figures that also include his contributions in the Kazakhstan Cup after his summer move to Altai.
Dodev's goal was recognised at the national level in Kazakhstan, and his overall form has validated Altai's decision to sign him during the transfer window.
Earlier this year, Dodev also received his first call-up and made his debut for North Macedonia's senior national team in friendly matches against Bosnia and Turkey this summer.
Local context and wider praise
The draw with Yelimay Semey kept Altai competitive in the closing phase of the domestic season and underlined Dodev's growing role as a direct contributor in attack.
